Kherson becomes new Bakhmut; Russia pounds Ukrainian posts set up on eastern Dnipro

Moscow claims its air defence forces eliminated at least 15 unmanned aerial vehicles in Donetsk. Russian forces have been using anti-drone guns to counter Ukrainian drones. Ukraine’s military has reportedly set up a position on the eastern Dnipro river near Kherson. The Institute for the Study War reported that Ukrainian troops had taken steps to try to dislodge Russian troops from positions in Kherson.
